Over the last several years, there has been significant growth and development in the Puerto Vallarta Marina. After many years of declining tourism, a recent shift has occurred and the Puerto Vallarta Marina is now a happening place to be with lots to do. Shopping and Farmer’s Market

Due to revival of the Puerto Vallarta Marina,  it has now become a popular tourist attraction throughout the entire year. If you visit during the high season months between November through April, don’t miss the large farmers market that is held every Thursday evening starting at 6pm. Everything from beautiful local art, handcrafted jewelry, scrumptious pastries, Mexican ice creams to traditional artisan crafts and so much more is available at the farmer’s market. Additionally, there are numerous shops along the Marina boardwalk where you can find cute nick nacks or even a nice bottle of tequila to take home as a souvenir.

When it comes to dining options, the Puerto Vallarta Marina will not disappoint. Every taste and budget can be appeased thanks to the large variety of restaurants and bars that now call the Puerto Vallarta Marina home. Golfer’s Haven

Would you like to play a round of golf on your visit? The Puerto Vallarta Marina is home to Vista Vallarta’s signature design Jack Nicklaus Golf Course. The gorgeous par-72 course has amazing Bay and Marina views from various holes as well as shady ficus trees, natural creeks and palm forests located throughout. Puerto Vallarta Marina  weather is consistently sunny and warm the entire year, so don’t forget your sunscreen and hat to keep you protected as you enjoy getting to know the best of the marina. Check out La Condesa which is a local’s favorite that plays great music and the menu is well priced. In the mood for romance?  Check out the El Faro lighthouse bar that you can access by walking up the narrow spiral staircase inside the lighthouse, or ride the antique elevator to the top if you aren’t claustrophobic. Stunning sunset views of the Puerto Vallarta Marina and the Sierra Madre mountains create an idyllic setting for a romantic evening.
